We have maintained public safety as our top priority for our families and businesses. Adopted balanced budgets these past two years, without use of reserves! Adopted comprehensive pension and benefits reform for all City labor groups. Restructured City operations and staffing to be efficient and cost-effective, while improving customer service. Challenging economic times dictate the need to elect Councilmembers having proven experience and ability to properly manage our City's finances. This is essential for Rancho Cucamonga's long-term economic vitality and ensuring the highest possible quality of life for Rancho Cucamonga.

I remain committed to protecting and improving the quality of life in our community. Vision and leadership, combined with intelligent planning have been the hallmark of our community. During the past four years we have implement fair pension reform, made sensible staff and salary reductions and restructured our organization to improve efficiency, save money and maintain a high standard of public services. Fiscal responsibility and a high standard of living will remain a top priority during my next term. We are faced with many challenges; and uncertain economy, rising crime, reduced property values and confusion in our state and federal government.
